We spent yesterday at the 52nd annual Sakura Matsuri Japanese Street Festival (in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the Cherry Blossoms). It was a great way to see little tidbits of Japanese culture… but the star attraction was some of the great outfits people wear. You could really wear anything you wanted yesterday and not feel out of place. And how cute is the little girl in her kimono?
Thanks to Man Flame’s Parents we’ve started making smoothies in the mornings…i have to admit my first couple of rounds were not so great. Luckily they give you handy recipe book that I started reading out to poor Man Flame of all the foods we can make (including hummus!!) I can’t wait to start eating more whole fruits and veggies.
